Its a week like this that reaffirm my life decisions; I love the people around me, love what I do, and love where I live. Despite the fact that I’m up at 3am doing differential equations, I have a smile on my face. If that doesn’t say that I should be a math major, then I don’t know what the hell does.
Also, I need to get into real chemistry - I’m tired of all this bullshit drawing, and its really making me question if I want to do it for a living.

Think back to the very first time you felt like you loved someone; for some of us it was in middle school, high school, or even college. Remember how you felt – so overjoyed you couldn’t contain yourself, you wanted to shout it from a rooftop? (80’s clichéd, I know) Think about the very instant that you felt so ineffably joyous, and imagine if someone told you that you could not be together. Imagine how confused you would feel, how upset, how bewildered. Imagine how unjust you would feel these people were to impose their arbitrary will on you, in your moment of ecstasy.

Now realize this is how the LGBT community feels daily. Realize that by saying “I feel uncomfortable thinking that a couple may not be following MY belief system” is actually hurting a lot of people. Look at the number of suicides of gay, bi, or transgendered children because in their confusion they see themselves as not belonging to a “civilized” society. Please see that by denying others the right to express their love in ways you take for granted, you are causing a lot of pain to thousands of people.

So this is the first time I’ve logged onto Tumblr in I don’t know how long. First off, thank you to the 38 people who somehow still follow my blog despite the total inactivity.

I likely will just leave this here as a placeholder until the next time I venture back onto Tumblr. Sorry, I just have too much going on out in the real world the spend the time it takes to maintain this.
